Control Buttons:
- Power Button (O): Press and hold to turn the speaker ON or OFF.

Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
- Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate (color may vary) to show that the speaker is charging.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light will change or turn off. Disconnect the charging cable.
2. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power Button (O) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Button (O) for approximately 3 seconds until you hear an audible prompt or the indicator light turns off.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and within close proximity to your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
- The speaker will automatically enter pairing mode when powered on for the first time, or if no device is connected. The Bluetooth indicator light will flash rapidly. If already connected, press the Bluetooth Button (ℬ) to enter pairing mode.
- On your device, go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available devices. You should see "Sylvania Speaker" or a similar name appear in the list.
- Select the speaker from the list to initiate pairing.
- Once successfully paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the speaker will stop flashing and remain solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.
- The speaker will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.
Operating the Speaker
Playing Audio:
- After successful Bluetooth pairing, start playing audio from your connected device.
- Use the Play/Pause (▶❚❚) button on the speaker to control playback.
- Press Previous Track (◀◀) or Next Track (▶▶) to navigate through your playlist.
Volume Control:
- Press the Volume Up (+) button to increase the audio volume.
- Press the Volume Down (-) button to decrease the audio volume.
- You can also adjust the volume directly from your connected Bluetooth device.
Water Resistance (IPX4):
The speaker has an IPX4 rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for use in light rain or near a pool, but it should not be submerged in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use and recharge it at least once every three months if not used regularly.
- Water Resistance: Always ensure the charging port cover is firmly sealed when using the speaker near water to maintain its IPX4 rating.
