  • Tank: 2.25-gallon, UV-resistant HDPE with translucent color for level monitoring.
  • Pump: High-efficiency piston pump for quick pressurization.
  • Seals: Viton® seals and O-rings for superior chemical resistance.
  • Wand: Unbreakable wand with interchangeable nozzle system (TeeJet® compatible).
  • Valve: Commercial-quality shut-off valve with lock-on/lock-off lever.
  • Pressure Relief Valve: Automatically vents pressure once the maximum compression level is reached (at 45 psi).
  • Carry Strap: Adjustable webbed nylon carry strap.

Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify all components are present: tank, pump assembly, hose, spray wand, and nozzles.
  2. Attach Hose: Securely connect the hose to the tank outlet and the spray wand handle. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  3. Install Nozzle: Select the desired nozzle and attach it to the end of the spray wand. Ensure it is firmly seated.
  4. Initial Inspection: Before first use, inspect all seals and O-rings for proper placement and any signs of damage. Lubricate seals with a suitable lubricant if necessary.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Solution: Ensure the chemical solution is mixed according to its manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Fill Tank: Unscrew the pump assembly from the tank. Pour the prepared solution into the tank, being careful not to exceed the maximum fill line. The extra-large opening facilitates easy filling.
  3. Secure Pump: Reinsert the pump assembly into the tank opening and screw it down tightly. Ensure a secure seal to prevent leaks and maintain pressure.
  4. Pressurize Sprayer: Pump the handle up and down repeatedly until resistance is felt and the tank is pressurized. The high-efficiency pump requires fewer strokes. The pressure-relief valve will automatically vent if over-pressurized (at 45 psi).
  5. Begin Spraying: Aim the nozzle at the target area. Squeeze the trigger on the shut-off valve to begin spraying. For continuous spraying, engage the lock-on feature on the trigger.
  6. Adjust Spray Pattern: Rotate the nozzle to adjust the spray pattern from a fine mist to a coarse stream, depending on the application.
  7. Cease Spraying: Release the trigger to stop spraying. Disengage the lock-on feature if used.

Maintenance and Storage

  • Cleaning After Use: After each use, thoroughly rinse the tank, pump, hose, and wand with clean water. Pump clean water through the nozzle to flush out any chemical residue.
  • Disassemble for Deep Cleaning: Periodically, disassemble the nozzle and wand components for a more thorough cleaning.
  • Inspect Seals: Regularly inspect all Viton® seals and O-rings for wear or damage. Replace any worn parts to maintain proper sealing and prevent leaks. Lubricate seals with silicone grease to prolong their life.
  • Depressurize: Always release all pressure from the tank before storing.
  • Storage: Store the sprayer in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Ensure the tank is empty and clean.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Sprayer does not build or hold pressure.Loose pump assembly, damaged or dry O-rings/seals, clogged check valve, worn pump cup.Ensure pump assembly is tightly screwed onto the tank. Inspect and lubricate or replace O-rings and seals. Clean or replace the check valve. Inspect and replace the pump cup if worn.
Leaking from tank lid or connections.Lid not tightened sufficiently, damaged lid gasket, loose hose connections.Tighten the tank lid firmly. Inspect and replace the lid gasket if damaged. Ensure all hose connections are secure.
No spray or weak spray.Clogged nozzle, insufficient pressure, clogged filter.Clean the nozzle. Pump the sprayer to full pressure. Check and clean the filter at the end of the dip tube inside the tank.
Bottom of tank bulges.Over-pressurization.The pressure relief valve should prevent this at 45 psi. If it occurs, immediately release pressure. Do not over-pressurize the tank. If the tank is deformed, discontinue use and replace.
