Setup

1. Battery Installation

The scale requires 2 AAA batteries (included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Open the cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely.

2. Unit Selection

On the underside of the scale, locate the 'UNIT' button. Press this button to toggle between pounds (lb) and kilograms (kg) to select your preferred unit of measurement.

3. Initial Calibration

Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Step on the scale briefly, then step off. The display will show '0.0' or '0.00' indicating it has calibrated. The scale is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions

Taking a Measurement

1. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring.
2. Gently step onto the scale with bare feet. Stand still and centered on the platform.
3. The display will show your weight. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
4. Step off the scale. The display will hold the weight for a few seconds before automatically turning off.

Auto-Off Feature

To conserve battery life, the scale will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity or once a stable weight reading has been displayed and you step off.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. The tempered glass surface is easy to clean.

Battery Replacement

When the low battery indicator ('Lo') appears on the display, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section to replace the 2 AAA batteries.

Troubleshooting

• 'Lo' displayed: Indicates low battery. Replace the 2 AAA batteries.
• 'Err' displayed: Indicates overload. The maximum weight capacity is 330 lbs (150 kg). Step off the scale immediately to prevent damage.
• Inaccurate readings: Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat surface. Recalibrate by stepping on and off the scale. Check battery levels.
• No display: Check if batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
