Setup
1. Battery Installation
The RC-1226 remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included) for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Press down on the tab and slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
- Slide the battery cover back into place until it clicks securely.

2. Initial Use
No programming is required for this replacement remote control. Once batteries are installed, it is ready for use with compatible Denon AV receivers.
Operating Instructions
To ensure proper function, aim the remote control directly at the infrared sensor on your Denon AV receiver. Avoid placing any obstacles between the remote and the receiver.

Maintenance
Battery Replacement:

Cleaning:

Troubleshooting
- Remote not responding:
- Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the AV receiver's IR sensor.
- Confirm you are pointing the remote directly at the receiver's sensor.
