5. Setup and Installation

5.1 SIM Card Installation

The G18 GPS Tracker requires a 2G (GSM) SIM card for network communication. Please ensure your local area supports 2G networks before installation. The SIM card is not included in the package.

1. Carefully open the casing of the G18 device.
2. Insert the 2G GSM SIM card into the designated SIM card slot. Ensure the SIM card is inserted correctly according to the diagram or markings on the device.
3. Close the casing securely.

5.2 Wiring Diagram

The G18 is a four-wire device. Proper wiring is crucial for its functionality, including power supply and remote cut-off features. Refer to the diagram below for correct installation.

• Red Wire (+): Connect to the positive terminal of the vehicle's battery (constant 9-90V power).
• Black Wire (-): Connect to the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery or chassis ground.
• Orange Wire (ACC): Connect to the vehicle's ACC (Accessory) wire, which receives power when the ignition is on.
• Yellow Wire (Petrol On/Off): Connect to the relay's control input for remote fuel/power cut-off. The relay should be wired to interrupt the fuel pump or ignition circuit.

Important: Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits. If you are unsure about the wiring, please consult a professional installer.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Accessing the Tracking Platform

The G18 GPS Tracker can be monitored and managed through the WanWay Track platform, accessible via web browser or mobile application.

• Web Platform: Access the WanWay Track platform via your web browser.
• Mobile App: Download the "WanWayTrack" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). You can also use this direct download link: WanWayTrack App Download.

Test Account: You can test the platform and app using the following credentials:

• Password: wanway123

6.2 Real-time Tracking

Once the device is installed and connected to the platform, it will update its position every 10 seconds, providing continuous real-time tracking.

6.3 Trace Playback

The platform allows you to review the historical trace of your vehicle, which can be useful for analyzing routes and past movements.
