2. Important Safety Information

5. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the microwave oven and all packing materials from the carton.
- Placement: Place the oven on a flat, stable surface that can withstand the weight of the oven and the heaviest food likely to be cooked in it. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space around the oven (at least 20cm above, 10cm at the back, and 5cm on each side).
- Turntable Installation: Place the turntable ring in the center of the oven cavity. Place the glass turntable on top of the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely on the center hub.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the microwave oven.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Setting the Clock
- Press the "Clock" button.
- Use the dial or number pad to set the current hour.
- Press the "Clock" button again.
- Use the dial or number pad to set the current minutes.
- Press the "Clock" button to confirm.
6.2. Microwave Cooking
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the door securely.
- Select the desired power level (e.g., 800W for heating, 1000W for cooking). The Kenwood MWM25.000BK offers 5 power levels.
- Set the cooking time using the dial or number pad (up to 95 minutes).
- Press the "Start" button. The oven will begin cooking and the timer will count down.
6.3. Defrost Function
The defrost function allows you to defrost food based on weight or time.
- Press the "Defrost" button.
- Select defrost by weight or time using the corresponding options.
- Adjust the weight or time as needed.
- Press the "Start" button.
6.4. Automatic Programs
