Introduction

This instruction manual provides essential information for the safe and correct installation, use, and maintenance of your WENKO Bosio Matte Towel Bar. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and retain them for future reference.

Setup and Installation

The WENKO Bosio Matte Towel Bar offers two installation methods: traditional drilling with screws and dowels, or a drilling-free option using the separately available Power-Loc adhesive system.

Method 1: Screw Mounting (Included)

1. Preparation: Choose a suitable location on your wall. Ensure there are no hidden pipes or electrical wires. Mark the desired drilling points for the mounting brackets.
2. Drilling: Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type. Insert the included dowels into the drilled holes.
3. Mounting: Attach the mounting brackets to the wall using the included screws. Ensure they are securely fastened and level.
4. Attach Towel Bar: Secure the towel bar to the mounted brackets. Tighten any set screws to prevent movement.

Method 2: Power-Loc Adhesive Mounting (Sold Separately)

For a drilling-free installation, the WENKO Power-Loc adhesive set (model 21578100) can be purchased separately. This system provides extremely strong adhesion on various surfaces including tiles, natural stone, glass, concrete, metal, wood, and many plastics, even on rough or slightly uneven surfaces.

1. Preparation: Clean the wall surface thoroughly where the towel bar will be mounted. Ensure it is dry and free of dust or grease.
2. Apply Adhesive: Follow the specific instructions provided with the Power-Loc adhesive set to apply the adhesive to the mounting plates.
3. Attach Mounting Plates: Press the mounting plates firmly onto the prepared wall surface. Hold in place for the recommended time.
4. Curing Time: Allow the adhesive to cure completely as per the Power-Loc instructions before attaching the towel bar or applying weight.
5. Attach Towel Bar: Once cured, secure the towel bar to the mounted plates.

Operating Instructions

The WENKO Bosio Matte Towel Bar is designed for holding bath towels, shower towels, or hand towels. Simply drape your towel over the bar. The generous length provides ample space for towels to dry effectively.

Maintenance

To maintain the matte finish and quality of your stainless steel towel bar, follow these simple cleaning guidelines:

• Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
• For stubborn marks, use a mild soap solution and rinse thoroughly.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
• Dry with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spots.

Troubleshooting

Towel Bar Feels Loose:

If the towel bar becomes loose after installation, check the mounting screws or adhesive plates. For screw mounting, gently tighten the screws. For Power-Loc adhesive, ensure the curing time was sufficient and the surface was properly prepared. If issues persist, re-installation may be necessary.
