Initial Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Baldr Atomic Digital Alarm Clock for the first time.
- Remove Battery Insulator: Locate the CR2032 cell battery compartment on the back of the unit. Remove any plastic insulator tab if present. This battery serves as a memory backup and is not for primary power.
- Connect Power Adapter: Plug the provided AC power adapter into the DC IN port on the back of the clock, then plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet. The display will light up.
- Atomic Time Synchronization: Upon initial power-on, the clock will automatically attempt to synchronize with the WWVB atomic clock signal. This process may take several minutes to several hours depending on your location and signal strength. Ensure the clock is placed near a window for better reception. A signal icon will appear on the display when synchronization is successful.

Operating Instructions
This section details how to operate the various functions of your clock.
Button Functions:

Setting Time and Date Manually:
- Press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The setting item will flash.
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the value.
- Press the SET button to confirm and move to the next setting item. The setting sequence is: Year > Month > Day > 12/24 Hour Format > Hour > Minute > Time Zone > DST (Daylight Saving Time) ON/OFF.
- Press the SET button repeatedly or wait 20 seconds for the clock to automatically exit setting mode.
Setting the Alarm:
- Press the ALARM (🔔) button once to check the current alarm time.
- Press the ALARM (🔔) button twice to turn the alarm ON or OFF. An alarm icon will appear/disappear on the display.
- Press and hold the ALARM (🔔) button for 3 seconds to enter alarm time setting mode. The hour will flash.
- Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the hour. Press ALARM (🔔) to confirm.
- The minute will flash. Use the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) buttons to adjust the minute. Press ALARM (🔔) to confirm and exit.
Snooze Function:
When the alarm sounds, press the TOP button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 5 minutes and then sound again. To stop the alarm completely, press any other button.
Adjusting Backlight:
Press the TOP button to cycle through backlight brightness levels: 100% (bright), 10% (dim), and OFF. This allows for comfortable viewing in various lighting conditions.
Max/Min Temperature and Humidity Records:
- Press the MEM button once to view the maximum recorded temperature and humidity.
- Press the MEM button again to view the minimum recorded temperature and humidity.
- Press and hold the MEM button for 3 seconds to clear the Max/Min records and reactivate the memory.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: The CR2032 cell battery is for memory backup only. If the clock loses settings during a power outage, replace this battery. To replace, open the battery compartment on the back, remove the old battery, and insert a new CR2032 battery with the correct polarity.
