3. Safety Information
Always observe basic safety precautions when using pneumatic tools to reduce the risk of injury. Read and understand all instructions before operation.
- Wear Eye Protection: Always wear ANSI-approved safety goggles or a face shield.
- Wear Hearing Protection: Prolonged exposure to noise can cause hearing damage.
- Wear Hand Protection: Use appropriate gloves to protect hands from vibrations and debris.
- Secure Workpiece: Always clamp or secure the workpiece to prevent movement during operation.
- Maintain Proper Air Pressure: Do not exceed the maximum recommended air pressure (6.3 bar).
- Disconnect Air Supply: Always disconnect the air supply before changing accessories, performing maintenance, or when the tool is not in use.
- Inspect Tool: Before each use, inspect the tool for any damage or loose parts. Do not use a damaged tool.
- Keep Work Area Clean: Cluttered work areas increase the risk of accidents.
- Avoid Accidental Starting: Ensure the trigger is not engaged when connecting to the air supply.
4. Setup
4.1 Connecting to Air Supply
- Ensure your air compressor is off and depressurized.
- Attach the threaded cap fitting to the air inlet of the chisel hammer.
- Connect a suitable air hose (recommended diameter: 9mm) to the fitting.
- Ensure all connections are secure to prevent air leaks.
- Turn on your air compressor and adjust the pressure regulator to the recommended operating pressure (max 6.3 bar).
4.2 Installing Chisels
- Disconnect the tool from the air supply.
- Slide the retaining spring over the chisel shank.
- Insert the 10mm hexagonal shank of the desired chisel into the tool's chuck. The hexagonal shaft prevents rotation during use.
- Push the chisel firmly until it clicks into place and is held securely by the retaining spring.
- Reconnect the air supply.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Basic Operation
- Ensure the chisel is properly installed and the air supply is connected and at the correct pressure.
- Hold the tool firmly with both hands, utilizing the rubberized grip for improved hold and reduced vibration.
- Position the chisel tip against the material to be worked on.
- Press the trigger to activate the hammer. The tool delivers 4500 impacts per minute for high impact power.
- Apply steady, controlled pressure and guide the tool along the desired path.
- Release the trigger to stop the operation.
5.2 Adjusting Power
The ABAC G-475 features an air regulation valve to adapt the impact power. Locate the valve (usually a knob or screw near the air inlet) and turn it to increase or decrease the airflow, thereby adjusting the tool's power output to suit the task.

6.2 Cleaning and Storage
- After each use, disconnect the air supply and clean the tool and chisels of any debris, dust, or residue.
- Store the tool and accessories in the provided plastic carrying case in a dry, clean environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
