Thank you for purchasing the Comfort Zone® Clean HEPA Air Purifier. This manual provides important information regarding the safe operation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your air purifier. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the appliance and retain it for future reference.
This air purifier is designed to improve indoor air quality by effectively removing airborne particles such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and odors.
Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions before using the appliance.
- Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
- This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
- Always unplug the appliance before moving, cleaning, or when not in use.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
Product Overview
The Comfort Zone® Clean HEPA Air Purifier (Model CZAP102SWT) is a compact and efficient air purification system designed for rooms up to 150 sq. ft. It features a 3-stage filtration system including a True HEPA filter and an activated carbon filter, along with a negative ion generator. The unit can be controlled via its touch panel or through a dedicated mobile application.

Setup
Unpacking
- Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging materials, including any protective film or tape.
- Ensure all components are present: Air Purifier Unit, HEPA Filter (pre-installed or separate), and Instruction Manual.
Filter Installation (if not pre-installed)
The air purifier comes with a replaceable True HEPA filter. Before first use, ensure the filter is properly installed and any protective plastic wrapping is removed.
- Turn the air purifier upside down.
- Twist the base cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the filter from its plastic packaging.
- Insert the filter into the air purifier, ensuring it sits securely.
- Replace the base cover and twist clockwise to lock it into place.

Placement
- Place the air purifier on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance from walls or furniture for optimal airflow.
- Avoid placing the unit near heat sources, direct sunlight, or in areas with high humidity.
- The unit is suitable for placement on a desk, floor, or countertop.

Power Connection
Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel Functions
The air purifier features a touch-sensitive control panel on its top surface.
- Power Button (⏻): Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Fan Speed Button (⏚): Press to cycle through fan speeds (Low, Medium, High, Auto).
- Timer Button (⏱): Press to set the operating timer (e.g., 2H, 4H, 8H, 12H).
- Night Light Button (💡): Press to turn the night light ON or OFF.
- Ionizer Button (⚛): Press to activate or deactivate the negative ion generator.
Mobile App Control
The Comfort Zone® Clean HEPA Air Purifier can be controlled remotely via a dedicated mobile application available for iOS and Android devices. This allows for convenient operation, monitoring filter status, and setting schedules.
- Download the App: Search for "Comfort Zone Smart" or similar in your device's app store.
- Register/Login: Create an account or log in if you already have one.
- Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your air purifier to your Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz.
- Control Functions: Once connected, you can adjust fan speed, set timers, control the night light, and monitor filter life directly from your smartphone.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Exterior
- Always unplug the unit before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as these may damage the finish.
Filter Replacement
The True HEPA filter has an estimated life of up to 3,000 hours or approximately 4 months, depending on usage and air quality. The mobile app will indicate when the filter needs replacement.
- Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
- Turn the unit upside down and twist the base cover counter-clockwise to remove it.
- Carefully remove the old filter. Dispose of the old filter responsibly.
- Insert a new Comfort Zone replacement filter (Model CZAPH132) into the unit. Ensure it is seated correctly.
- Replace the base cover and twist clockwise to lock it.
- Plug in the unit. Reset the filter life indicator via the mobile app or by pressing and holding the appropriate button on the control panel (refer to app or specific model instructions for exact reset procedure).

Troubleshooting

Warranty Information
This Comfort Zone® product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of this product. A purchase receipt or other proof of date of original purchase is required before warranty performance is rendered.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation or operation, or lack of reasonable care. This warranty does not apply to any non-Comfort Zone® accessories used with this product.
