Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Zeee 2S 7.4V 5200mAh 50C LiPo RC Battery. This high-performance Lithium Polymer battery is designed to provide reliable power for a wide range of RC vehicles, including cars, trucks, truggies, and boats. This manual provides essential information for safe handling, optimal performance, and extended battery life. Please read it thoroughly before using your battery.
Important Safety Instructions
Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries are powerful and can be dangerous if not handled correctly. Failure to follow these instructions can result in fire, personal injury, and property damage.
- Charging: Always use a LiPo-compatible charger. Never charge unattended. Do not charge damaged or swollen batteries. Charge in a fire-safe area, away from flammable materials.
- Discharging: Do not over-discharge the battery below 3.2V per cell (6.4V for a 2S battery). Over-discharging can permanently damage the battery.
- Storage: Store LiPo batteries at room temperature in a fire-safe container, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Store at a 'storage charge' voltage (typically 3.8V-3.85V per cell).
- Handling: Do not puncture, short-circuit, or disassemble the battery. Avoid impact. If the battery becomes hot, swollen, or emits smoke, immediately move it to a safe, non-flammable area and observe from a distance.
- Disposal: Dispose of LiPo batteries responsibly at a designated recycling facility. Never dispose of them in household waste.
- Children: Keep batteries out of reach of children.

Setup & Charging
Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your battery, inspect it for any signs of damage, swelling, or punctures. Do not use a damaged battery.
Charging Procedure
- Connect the battery's balance lead (JST-XH) to the balance port on your LiPo charger.
- Connect the battery's main discharge lead (Deans T-connector) to the main output port on your LiPo charger.
- Set your charger to the 'LiPo Balance Charge' mode.
- Set the voltage to 7.4V (2S).
- Set the charging current. For optimal battery life, charge at 1C (1 times the capacity). For this 5200mAh battery, 1C is 5.2 Amperes. Never exceed 2C charging rate.
- Start the charging process. Monitor the battery and charger throughout the entire charging cycle.
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the battery from the charger.
Never leave a charging LiPo battery unattended. Always charge on a non-flammable surface and inside a LiPo-safe charging bag or container.
Operation
Connecting to Your RC Model
- Ensure your RC model's Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) is compatible with 2S LiPo batteries and has a Deans T-connector.
- Carefully connect the battery's Deans T-connector to the ESC's power input. Ensure the polarity is correct.
- Secure the battery within your RC model's battery compartment to prevent movement during operation.
Usage Guidelines
- Avoid over-discharging the battery. Most ESCs have a Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC) feature. Ensure this is set correctly for LiPo batteries (typically 3.2V per cell or higher).
- If you notice a significant drop in power or the LVC activates, stop using the vehicle immediately and disconnect the battery.
- Do not operate the battery if it becomes excessively hot. Allow it to cool down before recharging or further use.

Maintenance & Storage
Post-Use Care
- After use, allow the battery to cool down completely before recharging.
- If the battery will not be used for an extended period, charge or discharge it to a storage voltage (3.8V-3.85V per cell). Most LiPo chargers have a 'Storage' mode.
Storage Conditions
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and flammable materials.
- Use a LiPo-safe bag or container for storage to minimize risks in case of an incident.
- Avoid storing batteries in extreme temperatures (below 0°C / 32°F or above 50°C / 122°F).
Troubleshooting
- Battery not charging: Ensure all connections are secure. Verify charger settings (LiPo mode, 2S, correct current). Check if the battery is damaged (swollen, punctured).
- Short run time: Check if the battery is fully charged. Ensure the ESC's Low Voltage Cutoff (LVC) is set correctly. The battery might be aging or damaged if capacity has significantly decreased.
- Battery swelling: Immediately discontinue use and charging. Swelling indicates internal damage and a potential safety hazard. Dispose of the battery safely.
- Battery getting hot during use: This can be normal under heavy load, but excessive heat (too hot to touch) indicates over-discharge, over-current, or internal damage. Reduce load, check LVC settings, or replace the battery if damage is suspected.
