Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage. Keep packaging for potential future transport.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean all removable parts (fondue pot, splash guard, forks, crepe plate, spatula, spreader) with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the base unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the base unit on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the appliance for ventilation.
  4. Power Connection: Ensure the thermostat control is set to 'Min' before plugging the extra-long power cord (approx. 1 m) into a suitable 220V power outlet.

Operating Instructions

A. Fondue Operation

  1. Assembly: Place the fondue pot onto the heating element of the base unit. Position the splash guard on top of the fondue pot, ensuring it is securely locked.
  2. Filling: Fill the fondue pot with your desired fondue liquid (oil, broth, cheese, or chocolate). Do not exceed the maximum fill line to prevent overflow.
  3. Heating: Turn the thermostat control to the desired temperature setting. The indicator light will illuminate, showing the appliance is heating.
  4. Cooking: Once the fondue liquid reaches the desired temperature, use the color-coded fondue forks to dip food items. Adjust the thermostat as needed to maintain the temperature.
  5. After Use: Turn the thermostat to 'Min' and unplug the appliance. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  3. Making Crepes: Pour a small amount of crepe batter onto the center of the hot plate. Use the wooden batter spreader to quickly spread the batter evenly into a thin, round crepe.
  4. Cooking: Cook for 1-2 minutes until the edges are golden brown and the surface is set. Use the wooden spatula to flip the crepe and cook the other side for another 30-60 seconds.
  5. Serving: Remove the cooked crepe and repeat the process for additional crepes.
  6. After Use: Turn the thermostat to 'Min' and unplug the appliance. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
