6. Operating Instructions

Your Fresh Rafale Plus ceiling fan is controlled by a wall-mounted speed regulator.

  • Power On/Off: Use the main switch on the wall regulator to turn the fan on or off.
  • Speed Control: The regulator features five speed settings. Rotate the knob or slide the switch (depending on regulator type) to select your desired fan speed, from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest).
  • Directional Rotation: The fan is designed to rotate in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions. A switch on the fan motor housing (or on the wall regulator, if applicable) allows you to change the direction of rotation. This feature is useful for seasonal comfort: use counter-clockwise rotation for cooling in summer and clockwise rotation for circulating warm air in winter.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the fan blades and motor housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the fan is turned off and power is disconnected before cleaning.
  • Blade Balance: If the fan wobbles, check that all blade screws are tight and that the blades are not bent or damaged. Balancing kits are available if needed.
  • Tighten Fasteners: Annually, check all screws and fasteners on the fan and mounting hardware to ensure they are securely tightened.
  • Lubrication: The fan motor is permanently lubricated and does not require additional oiling.
