Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Heller MAV 2513 T Oil Heater. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.
The Heller MAV 2513 T is an oil-filled electric heater featuring 13 fins and 3 adjustable heating levels. It provides 2000 Watts of power, suitable for heating an area of up to 14 square meters. The heater includes an automatic shutdown function when the desired temperature is reached, a thermostat for precise temperature control, and a thermal safety valve to turn off the unit in case of thermostat malfunction.

Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Always use the handle when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug the heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas, and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

Setup
1. Attaching the Wheels (if not pre-assembled)
- Carefully turn the heater upside down on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent scratching.
- Locate the wheel mounting brackets and align them with the designated slots on the heater base.
- Insert the U-shaped bolts through the brackets and the heater base.
- Secure the brackets with the provided wing nuts, ensuring they are tightened firmly.
- Attach the wheels to the axles on the brackets. Some models may require pushing the wheels onto the axles until they click into place.
- Return the heater to an upright position.
2. Placement
- Place the heater on a firm, level surface.
- Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects.
- Do not place the heater directly under a power outlet.
- Avoid placing the heater in high-traffic areas where it could be easily knocked over.
Operating Instructions
1. Power Connection
- Ensure the heater is switched off (all controls set to '0' or 'OFF').
- Plug the power cord directly into a suitable wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
2. Selecting Heating Level
The heater features 3 heating levels. Use the power selector switch (often marked with I, II, III or similar symbols) to choose your desired heat output:
- Level I: Low heat setting.
- Level II: Medium heat setting.
- Level III: High heat setting (2000 Watts).
3. Adjusting Thermostat
The thermostat controls the room temperature. To set the desired temperature:
- Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to the maximum setting.
- Once the room reaches your desired temperature, slowly turn the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until you hear a "click" and the heater turns off.
- The heater will now cycle on and off automatically to maintain the set temperature.
4. Turning Off the Heater
- Turn the power selector switch to the '0' or 'OFF' position.
- Unplug the heater from the wall outlet.
- Allow the heater to cool down completely before moving or storing.

Cleaning
- Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior.
- Ensure the heater is completely dry before plugging it back in.
Storage
- Store the heater in a cool, dry location when not in use.
- If possible, store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
- Wrap the power cord neatly around the cord storage area (if available) or secure it with a tie.
