Important Notes Before Installation

• Dimming Function: The dimming feature is primarily designed for incandescent and some dimmable LED bulbs. Non-dimmable bulbs will only function with ON/OFF control.
• Batteries: The remote control requires two 1.5V AAA batteries, which are not included in the package.

Setup and Installation

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, remember to disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation. All electrical wiring must meet all local and national electrical code requirements. The electrical source and fan must be 110/120V, 60Hz. Incorrect wire connection can damage this receiver. If you do not have enough electrical wiring knowledge or experience, contact a licensed electrician.

1. Setting the Codes on the Remote Control and Receiver:

   Both the remote control and the receiver have DIP switches (1, 2, 3, 4) that must be set to the same combination for proper communication.

   Additionally, the remote control has switches to:

   • Switch the remote display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.
   • Switch the dimming mode between dimmable (D) and non-dimmable (O).
2. Receiver Positioning:

   Ensure the receiver is correctly positioned within the mounting bracket of your ceiling fan. It should fit securely above the downrod.

3. Connecting the Household Wiring, Receiver, and Fan:

   Follow the wiring diagram carefully. Connect the house supply wires to the receiver, and then connect the receiver to the fan wires using the provided plastic wire connectors.
