5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Disconnect the mouse from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Use compressed air to clear dust from crevices and around buttons.
5.2 Storage
Store the mouse in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
6. Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to a functioning USB port. Try a different USB port or computer to rule out port issues.
- Cursor movement is erratic or not smooth: Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse. Ensure the mouse is used on a clean, suitable surface (e.g., a mouse pad). Avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces.
- RGB lighting not working: Check software settings to ensure lighting is enabled and configured correctly.
- Programmable buttons not working: Ensure the INPHIC PG2 software is installed and the buttons are configured. Verify that the software is running in the background if required for custom profiles.
- DPI adjustment not changing sensitivity: Confirm that the DPI buttons are functioning. If using custom software profiles, ensure the profile is active.
- The grenade-shaped icon does not function as a button: This is by design. The grenade icon is a decorative element and is not a functional button.
