4. Setup & Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the efficient operation of your portable air conditioner. Follow these steps carefully:
- Connect the Exhaust Hose: Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the window kit adapter and the other end to the hose connector.
- Attach to Unit: Attach the hose connector to the exhaust air outlet unit on the back of the air conditioner.
- Prepare Window Kit: Stick the provided foam sealing strips on both sides of the window kit to fill any gaps.
- Install Window Kit: Extend the adjustable window kit to the length of your window opening. Close the window to secure the kit in place and fasten with screws.
- Connect Hose to Window: Connect the exhaust hose to the exhaust port on the window kit.
- Position the Unit: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface, ensuring there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of space around the unit for proper airflow.

5. Operating Instructions
Your EUHOMY Portable Air Conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Operating Modes:
- Cool Mode: Press the 'Mode' button until the snowflake icon appears. Adjust the temperature using the '+' and '-' buttons (61°F-88°F / 16°C-31°C).
- Heat Mode: Press the 'Mode' button until the sun icon appears. Adjust the temperature as needed.
- Fan Mode: Press the 'Mode' button until the fan icon appears. Select fan speed (Low, Medium, High) using the fan speed button.
- Dry (Dehumidifier) Mode: Press the 'Mode' button until the water drop icon appears. The unit will automatically remove up to 76 pints of moisture per day. Connect the drainage hose for continuous drainage.
- Sleep Mode: Activates quiet operation (46dB) and dims the display for undisturbed sleep. Press the 'Sleep' button.
- Timer Function: Set the unit to automatically turn on or off within a 24-hour period.
- Auto Swing: Press the 'Swing' button to activate the automatic louver movement for wider air distribution.
- Turbo Mode: For enhanced cooling or heating performance.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your air conditioner.
Cleaning the Air Filter:
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage. A dirty filter can reduce efficiency.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Remove the filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling.

Draining Water:

- Place a shallow pan or bucket under the drainage port.
- Remove the drain plug.
- Allow all water to drain completely.
- Replace the drain plug securely.
