1. Important Safety Instructions

Read all instructions before using the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always ensure the appliance is unplugged from the power outlet before assembly, disassembly, or cleaning.
  • Do not immerse the main unit housing, which contains electrical components and heating elements, in water or rinse under the tap.
  • Do not block the air intake or air outlet vents while the appliance is operating.
  • Do not fill the oil pan with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
  • The appliance operates at high temperatures. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Do not use the appliance for any purpose other than described in this manual.
  • Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at least 10 cm (4 inches) free space on the back and sides and 10 cm (4 inches) free space above the appliance.

  • Rotisserie Shaft, Forks & Set Screws: Used for roasting whole chickens or other large cuts of meat.
  • Baking Rack: A versatile rack for baking, toasting, or dehydrating.
  • Baking Tray: Suitable for baking various dishes or catching drips.
  • Rotisserie Removable Tool: Designed for safe removal of the hot rotisserie shaft.
  • Crumb Tray: Placed at the bottom to collect crumbs and drips, making cleaning easier.

3. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and accessories from the box.
  2. Cleaning: Wash all removable parts (baking rack, baking tray, rotisserie accessories, crumb tray) with warm soapy water. Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around the back, sides, and above the appliance for proper ventilation.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (AC 220-240V, 50HZ).
  5. Initial Run (Optional but Recommended): Before cooking food, run the appliance for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor may be present during this initial run; this is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The digital control panel features an LED display and touch controls for easy operation. You can adjust temperature and time manually or use the 10 preset programs.

  • LED Display: Shows current temperature and time settings.
  • Temperature Controls (+/-): Adjust cooking temperature (65°C-200°C).
  • Time Controls (+/-): Adjust cooking time.
  • Menu Button: Cycle through the 10 preset cooking programs.
  • Power Button: Turn the appliance on/off.
  • Light Button: Turn the interior light on/off to check cooking progress.
  • Rotation Button: Activate/deactivate the rotisserie function.

4.2 Using Preset Programs

The appliance includes 10 preset programs for common dishes:

  • Fries
  • Steak
  • Fish
  • Shrimp

  • Reheating
  1. Place food inside the oven with the appropriate accessory.
  2. Press the "Menu" button repeatedly to select the desired preset program. The corresponding icon will illuminate.
  3. The display will show the default temperature and time for that program. You can adjust these settings using the Temperature and Time controls if needed.
  4. Press the Power button to start cooking.

4.3 Manual Operation

  1. Place food inside the oven.
  2. Press the Power button to turn on the appliance.
  3. Use the Temperature controls (+/-) to set the desired cooking temperature.
  4. Use the Time controls (+/-) to set the desired cooking duration.
  5. Press the Power button again to start cooking.

4.4 Rotisserie Function

To use the rotisserie function for whole chicken or roasts:

  1. Secure the food onto the rotisserie shaft using the forks and set screws.
  2. Insert the rotisserie shaft into the designated slots inside the oven.
  3. Select a cooking program or set temperature and time manually.
  4. Press the "Rotation" button to activate the rotisserie function. The food will rotate for even cooking.
  5. Once cooking is complete, use the rotisserie removable tool to safely extract the hot rotisserie assembly.

4.5 Dehydrator Function

The appliance can also be used as a dehydrator:

  1. Prepare fruits, vegetables, or meats for dehydration.
  2. Place them on the baking racks.
  3. Select the "Dehydrating" preset program or set a low temperature (e.g., 65°C) for an extended period.
  4. Start the appliance.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Nictemaw Air Fryer Oven.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Removable Parts: All removable accessories (baking rack, baking tray, rotisserie accessories, crumb tray) are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Interior: Wipe the interior of the oven with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn food residues, soak a cloth in warm soapy water and gently scrub. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
  4. Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  5. Crumb Tray: Empty and clean the crumb tray after each use to prevent grease buildup and potential fire hazards.
