Operating Instructions

  1. Preheating Oil:
    • Ensure the oil tank is filled with oil to the appropriate level.
    • Turn the temperature selection dial on the control panel to your desired frying temperature (range 60-190°C). The "Power Light" (green) will illuminate, indicating the unit is on. The "Hot Light" (red) will illuminate, indicating the heating element is active.
    • Allow the oil to preheat. The "Hot Light" will turn off once the set temperature is reached, and will cycle on and off during operation to maintain the temperature.
  2. Frying Food:
    • Carefully place food into the frying basket. Do not overload the basket, as this can lower oil temperature and result in soggy food.
    • Slowly lower the basket into the hot oil.
    • Fry until food is golden brown and cooked through. Refer to the frying temperature table on the control panel for common food items.
    • Once cooked, carefully lift the basket and hook it onto the basket rest to allow excess oil to drain back into the tank.
    • Remove food from the basket and place on paper towels to absorb any remaining oil.
  3. Temperature Control: The variable temperature control allows precise temperature settings for different types of food.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your deep fryer and ensure optimal performance.

  1. Cool Down: Always ensure the oil has cooled completely before attempting to clean the fryer. This may take several hours.
  2. Oil Drainage: If equipped with a drainage system, use it to drain cooled oil into a suitable container. Otherwise, carefully lift and pour the oil from the tank.
  3. Disassembly: Remove the control panel/heating element assembly, oil tank, frying basket, and lid.
  4. Cleaning Components:
    • The removable oil tank, frying basket, and lid are dishwasher-safe or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive sponge or cloth.
    • Wipe the heating element and control panel assembly with a damp cloth. Do not immerse this part in water.
    • Wipe the exterior of the stainless steel housing with a damp cloth.
