4.4. Chain Tensioning
The chainsaw features an easy adjustment chain tensioning system. Refer to the operator's manual for detailed instructions on how to properly tension the chain. Correct chain tension is vital for safe and efficient cutting.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Starting the Chainsaw
To start the chainsaw, ensure the chain brake is disengaged (pulled back towards the front handle). Press the safety button and then squeeze the trigger. The brushless motor provides instant start-up without the need for pull cords or fuel mixing.
5.2. Cutting Techniques
Always plan your cut before starting. Use proper cutting techniques to avoid kickback and maintain control of the chainsaw. For felling trees, follow established safety procedures for directional felling. For limbing and pruning, support the branch to prevent pinching the bar and chain.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw.
- Chain Lubrication: The automatic oiler system provides continuous lubrication. Regularly check the oil level and refill as needed.
- Chain Tension: Periodically check and adjust chain tension. A properly tensioned chain should be snug but still allow you to pull it around the bar by hand.
- Chain Sharpening: A dull chain requires more effort to cut and increases the risk of kickback. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it when necessary.
- Cleaning: After each use, clean the chainsaw, especially around the bar, chain, and motor housing, to remove sawdust and debris. Use a blast of air to clean battery compartments.
- Storage: Store the chainsaw in a dry, secure location, out of reach of children. Ensure the scabbard is on the bar and chain. Remove batteries for long-term storage.
