Introduction
Thank you for choosing the tectake Garden Lounger. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new lounger. Please read these instructions carefully before use and retain them for future reference.
Safety Instructions
- Ensure all components are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not use if any parts are missing or broken.
- Assemble the lounger on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 100 kg (220 lbs).
- Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.
- Regularly check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight.
- Avoid exposing the lounger to extreme weather conditions for prolonged periods without protection.
Product Components
Before beginning assembly, verify that all the following components are included in your package:
- Rattan Lounger Frame (unassembled sections)
- Padded Cushions (main cushion and headrest)
- Mounting Material (screws, bolts, tools if included)
- Assembly Manual (this document)
Setup and Assembly
The tectake Garden Lounger is supplied as an unassembled kit. Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Identify all components against the product components list.
- Assemble Frame: Connect the main sections of the aluminum frame using the provided mounting material. Ensure all connections are secure but do not overtighten until the entire frame is assembled. The frame is designed for stability and lightweight construction.
- Attach Backrest Mechanism: Secure the adjustable backrest mechanism to the main frame. This mechanism allows for five different reclining positions.
- Install Non-Slip Feet: Attach the plastic leg guards to the bottom of the lounger's legs. These provide stability and protect surfaces.
- Place Padding: Position the fluffy padding onto the lounger frame. The padding features non-slip velcro closures to keep it securely in place. Attach the headrest cushion as desired.
- Final Tightening: Once the entire lounger is assembled, go back and securely tighten all screws and bolts. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the material.

Operating Instructions
Your tectake Garden Lounger is designed for comfort and versatility.
- Adjusting the Backrest: The backrest can be adjusted to five different positions, ranging from a fully reclining position to a more upright, horizontal position. To adjust, lift the backrest slightly, then move it to the desired notch in the support mechanism. Ensure it clicks securely into place before applying weight.
- Using the Padding: The included fluffy padding provides enhanced comfort. It is secured with non-slip velcro closures to prevent it from shifting during use.
Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your garden lounger.
- Cleaning the Frame: The high-quality polyrattan braided style and aluminum frame are easy to clean. Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Cleaning the Padding: The padding covers are removable and washable. Follow the care instructions on the label, typically recommending dry cleaning or gentle hand wash. Ensure padding is completely dry before reattaching.
- Protection from Elements: While the lounger is waterproof, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading over time. To enjoy the product as long as possible in outdoor use, it is recommended to use a protective cover when not in use, especially during harsh weather or off-season.
- Storage: For long-term storage, clean the lounger thoroughly, ensure it is dry, and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably covered.
