The package includes one receiver unit, two transmitter units, three furry windshields for wind noise reduction, a convenient carry pouch, one SC5 cable for camera connection, and three SC20 USB-C to USB-A cables for charging and computer connection. Setup

Charging the Units

Before first use, fully charge the receiver and both transmitter units using the provided SC20 USB-C cables. Connect the USB-C end to the units and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The units will indicate charging status on their displays.

The receiver and transmitters are equipped with internal rechargeable Lithium Polymer batteries. Full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours. A full charge provides over 7 hours of operation, and transmitters have over 40 hours of on-board recording capacity.

Connecting to Devices

The Wireless Go II offers versatile connectivity:

  • Cameras: Use the SC5 (3.5mm TRS to TRS) cable to connect the receiver's output to your camera's microphone input.
  • Mobile Devices (iOS/Android): For iOS devices, an SC15 (USB-C to Lightning) cable is required (sold separately). For Android devices, an SC16 (USB-C to USB-C) cable is required (sold separately).
  • Computers (Windows/MacOS): Connect the receiver to your computer using an SC20 (USB-C to USB-A) cable or an SC16 (USB-C to USB-C) cable for direct digital audio output.

For camera use, the receiver can be mounted on the camera's cold shoe. For mobile devices, ensure the correct adapter cable is used for proper audio input recognition. For computer use, the RØDE Connect software can be utilized for enhanced functionality.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button on each unit (receiver and transmitters) for 3 seconds to power on or off. The displays will illuminate upon power-on.

Pairing

The units come pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed, refer to the quick start guide for instructions. The receiver display will show connection status for both transmitters.

Microphone Usage

The transmitters have built-in omnidirectional microphones. For optimal sound, clip the transmitter directly onto clothing, close to the speaker's mouth. Use the included furry windshields outdoors to minimize wind noise.

Alternatively, you can connect an external lavalier microphone (sold separately) to the 3.5mm TRS input on the transmitter for more discreet placement. The system supports two transmitters simultaneously, allowing for dual-person recording.

On-Board Recording

Each transmitter features over 40 hours of internal recording capacity. This acts as a backup in case of wireless dropouts, ensuring no audio is lost. Recordings can be accessed and exported via the RØDE Central software on a computer.
