Operation
Your MPC 1-Button Remote Start System allows you to start or stop your vehicle's engine from a distance of up to 1,500 feet using the included 1-button remote transmitters. Depending on your vehicle and data module configuration, additional functions such as lock and unlock may also be available.
Remote Start/Stop Procedure:
- To Start: Press and release the button on your 1-button remote transmitter three (3) times within 3 seconds. The vehicle's parking lights will flash, and the engine will start.
- To Stop: While the engine is running via remote start, press and release the button on your 1-button remote transmitter three (3) times within 3 seconds. The engine will shut off.
Entering the Vehicle After Remote Start:
After remote starting your vehicle, unlock the doors using your factory remote or the MPC remote (if configured for unlock). Enter the vehicle, insert your key into the ignition (or press the brake pedal for push-to-start models), and turn it to the 'ON' or 'RUN' position before pressing the brake pedal. Warranty Information
MPC remote starters carry a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser of the product, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
