Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your swing seat. Ensure the chosen installation location is safe and free from obstructions.
1. Choose a Suitable Location
Select a sturdy support structure (e.g., a swing frame, a strong tree branch, or a ceiling beam) capable of safely supporting the swing and its maximum load (150 kg) with dynamic forces. Ensure there is adequate clear space around the swing for safe operation.
2. Acquire Mounting Hardware
As hooks and carabiners are not included, purchase appropriate mounting hardware suitable for your chosen support structure (e.g., concrete anchors, wood screws with eye bolts, or heavy-duty swing hangers). Ensure the hardware has a weight rating exceeding 150 kg.
3. Attach Ropes to Swing Seat
The swing seat comes with pre-drilled holes for the ropes. Thread each of the two 3.5-meter ropes through the designated holes on the wooden seat. Securely knot the ropes underneath the seat to prevent slippage. Ensure the knots are tight and stable.

4. Attach Metal Rings to Ropes
At the top end of each rope, attach the provided metal rings. These rings will connect to your mounting hardware.

5. Mount the Swing
Using your acquired hooks and carabiners, securely attach the metal rings of the swing ropes to your chosen support structure. Double-check all connections to ensure they are tight and safe. The ropes are adjustable in length; adjust them to achieve the desired swing height, ensuring the swing seat is level.

Operating Instructions
- Seating: Sit centrally on the swing seat.
- Swinging Motion: Initiate swinging gently. Avoid excessive force or twisting motions that could strain the ropes or mounting hardware.
- Single User: This swing seat is designed for one user at a time.
- Clearance: Ensure the area around the swing is clear of other people or objects during use.
Maintenance
- Cleaning:
- Wooden Seat: Wipe the wooden seat with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Cushion: The cotton cushion can be removed and hand-washed or machine-washed on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air dry.
- Storage: When not in use, especially during adverse weather conditions (rain, snow, extreme temperatures), store the swing seat in a dry and clean indoor location to preserve its natural materials and extend its lifespan.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect the ropes, knots, wooden seat, and metal rings for any signs of wear, fraying, cracks, or damage. Check that all knots are secure and tight.
- Replacement: If any component shows significant wear or damage, discontinue use immediately and replace the affected part or the entire swing seat.
Troubleshooting
- Swing feels unstable:
- Check all mounting points and hardware for secure attachment.
- Ensure ropes are evenly adjusted and knots are tight.
- Verify the support structure is strong enough for the load.
- Ropes appear frayed or worn:
- Discontinue use immediately.
- Replace the ropes with new, durable ones of appropriate strength and length.
- Wooden seat shows cracks or splinters:
- Discontinue use.
- Sand down small splinters if possible, or replace the seat if cracks compromise structural integrity.
