4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, ensure all components are present and undamaged. Always disconnect the tool from the power supply before assembly or making any adjustments.

4.1 Attaching the Side Handle

1. Locate the threaded holes on either side of the gear housing.
2. Screw the anti-vibration side handle firmly into the desired position (left or right, depending on your preference and task).

4.2 Attaching and Adjusting the Guard

The adjustable tool-free guard provides protection from sparks and debris. Ensure it is always in place and correctly positioned.

1. Slide the guard onto the collar of the gear housing.
2. Rotate the guard to the desired position to deflect sparks away from you and others.
3. Secure the guard by tightening its locking mechanism (tool-free adjustment).

4.3 Installing/Changing Grinding/Cutting Discs

Always use discs with a 125mm diameter and an M14 spindle thread. Ensure the disc's maximum RPM rating is equal to or greater than the grinder's no-load speed (11500 rpm).

1. Press and hold the spindle lock button.
2. Using the supplied spindle wrench, loosen and remove the outer flange nut.
3. Place the desired 125mm grinding or cutting disc onto the spindle, ensuring it sits flush against the inner flange.
4. Replace the outer flange nut and tighten it firmly with the spindle wrench while holding the spindle lock button.
5. Release the spindle lock button.
6. Before starting, manually spin the disc to ensure it is properly seated and free from obstruction.

5. Operating Instructions

Always wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before operating the angle grinder.

5.1 Powering On/Off

• To turn on the tool, slide the power switch forward to the "ON" position.

• Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped or held to prevent movement during operation.
• Clear the work area of any obstructions or flammable materials.
