1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Tiger ByOrient Airfyer Toaster Oven. This appliance combines the versatility of a toaster oven with the efficiency of an air fryer, offering multiple cooking functions for your convenience. Important Safety Instructions

• Read all instructions before using the appliance.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

• A fire may occur if the oven is covered or touching flammable material, including curtains, drapes, walls, and the like, when in operation.

• Do not store any materials, other than manufacturer's recommended accessories, in this oven when not in use.
• Do not place cooking utensils or baking dishes on the glass door.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads to clean the glass door.

• Oven Timer (min) Knob: Sets cooking time up to 60 minutes or to 'Stay On' for continuous operation.
• Temp. Knob: Adjusts cooking temperature from 80°C to 230°C (170°F to 450°F).
• Function Knob: Selects cooking mode (Air-Fry, Bake, Grill, Toast, Warm, Convection Bake, Convection Grill).
• Toast Timer Knob: Specifically for toast function, adjusts browning level from Light to Dark.
• Lamp Switch: Controls the internal oven light (ON/OFF).

3. Setup

Unpacking:

1. Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging.
2. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or protective films from the oven and accessories.
3. Inspect the appliance for any damage. Do not use if damaged.

Placement:

• Place the oven on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
• Ensure there is at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space on all sides of the oven for proper air circulation.
• Do not place the oven near flammable materials such as curtains or drapes.
• Ensure the power cord is not pinched or touching hot surfaces.

Initial Use (Burn-Off):

Before first use, it is recommended to run the oven empty to burn off any manufacturing residues and odors.

1. Wash all accessories (air fry basket, baking pan, grill rack, crumb tray) in warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
2. Place the crumb tray in the bottom of the oven.
3. Plug the oven into a grounded electrical outlet.
4. Set the Function knob to "Bake", Temperature knob to 230°C (450°F), and Timer knob to 15 minutes.
5. Allow the oven to run for 15 minutes. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal.
6. After 15 minutes, turn all knobs to "OFF" and unplug the oven.
7. Allow the oven to cool completely before use.

4. Operating Instructions

This section details how to use the various functions of your ByOrient Airfyer Toaster Oven.

General Operation:

1. Place food on the appropriate accessory (baking pan, grill rack, or air fry basket).
2. Insert the accessory into the desired rack position inside the oven.
3. Close the oven door.
4. Select the desired cooking function using the Function knob.
5. Set the desired temperature using the Temp. knob.
6. Set the cooking time using the Oven Timer knob. For continuous operation, turn to "Stay On".
7. The oven will begin heating. The internal lamp can be turned on/off using the Lamp switch to monitor cooking progress.
8. When cooking is complete, the timer will ding (if set), and the oven will turn off. If using "Stay On", manually turn the Timer knob to "OFF".
9. Carefully remove food using oven mitts and the rack handle.

• Air-Fry:

  Ideal for crispy foods like fries, chicken wings, and vegetables with little to no oil. Use the air fry basket for best results. The rapid hot air circulation ensures even cooking and crispiness. Preheat for 5-10 minutes for optimal results.

• Bake:

  For baking cakes, cookies, casseroles, and more. Use the baking pan or an oven-safe dish. Preheat the oven to the desired temperature before placing food inside.

• Grill:

  Perfect for grilling meats, fish, and vegetables. Place food on the grill rack. Position food closer to the top heating elements for direct heat. Monitor closely to prevent burning.

• Toast:

  For toasting bread, bagels, and frozen waffles. Place items directly on the grill rack. Use the dedicated Toast Timer knob to select your preferred browning level (Light, Medium, Dark). The oven will automatically shut off when toasting is complete.

• Warm:

  Keeps cooked food warm without further cooking. Use a low temperature setting and the "Stay On" timer function, or a short duration. Ideal for keeping dishes ready before serving.

• Convection Bake:

  Utilizes a fan to circulate hot air, resulting in faster and more even baking. Ideal for roasting and baking larger items. Adjust cooking time and temperature as needed (often slightly lower temperature or shorter time than conventional bake).

• Convection Grill:

  Combines grilling with convection for more even browning and faster cooking of grilled items. Useful for thicker cuts of meat or poultry.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ByOrient Airfyer Toaster Oven.

Before Cleaning:

• Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

Cleaning the Interior:

• Remove the crumb tray, grill rack, baking pan, and air fry basket.
• Wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive sponge.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils on the interior surfaces as they may damage the non-stick coating.
• Clean the heating elements gently with a soft, dry cloth if necessary, but avoid scrubbing.
• Ensure the interior is completely dry before next use.

Cleaning the Exterior:

• Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
• For the glass door, use a glass cleaner or a damp cloth with mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Do not immerse the oven in water or any other liquid.

Cleaning Accessories:

• Wash the crumb tray, grill rack, baking pan, and air fry basket in warm, soapy water.
• Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before returning them to the oven.
• Some accessories may be dishwasher safe; refer to specific accessory care instructions if provided.
