4. Setup and Installation
This fixture is designed for easy installation. Follow these steps carefully:
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Prepare Mounting: Attach the mounting crossbar to the junction box using the provided mounting screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Wire Connections: Connect the fixture's wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box using the wire nuts. Connect the black wire (live) to the black wire, the white wire (neutral) to the white wire, and the ground wire to the ground wire (or green/bare copper wire). Secure all connections with wire nuts and wrap with electrical tape if desired.
- Mount Fixture: Carefully push the wired fixture up to the ceiling, aligning the holes in the canopy with the screws on the mounting crossbar. Secure the fixture to the crossbar with the decorative nuts or screws provided.
- Install Glass Shades: Gently attach each seeded glass shade to its respective lamp holder on the fixture. Ensure they are securely tightened but do not overtighten.
- Install Bulbs: Screw in three E26 base bulbs (not included) into the sockets. Ensure they are no more than 60W each.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5. Operating Instructions
The ROTTOGOON Semi Flush Mount Ceiling Light operates like a standard ceiling fixture. Once installed and powered, it can be controlled via your wall switch.
- Bulb Compatibility: This fixture uses E26 standard base bulbs. For optimal performance and aesthetic, consider using Edison-style LED bulbs.
- Dimmable Feature: The fixture is fully dimmable. To utilize this feature, you must use dimmable E26 bulbs and connect the fixture to a compatible dimmer switch (both sold separately).

6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper care will help maintain the appearance and functionality of your light fixture.
- Cleaning: Always turn off the power before cleaning. Wipe the fixture with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish. For glass shades, a mild glass cleaner can be used, applied to a cloth first, not directly to the shade.
- Bulb Replacement: Ensure the power is off and bulbs have cooled before attempting to replace them. Unscrew the old bulb and screw in a new E26 base bulb (max 60W).
- Inspection: Periodically check all connections and mounting hardware to ensure they remain secure.
