Setup and Pairing
Initial Charging:
Before first use, fully charge your headphones. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the charging port on the headphones and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The LED indicator will typically show red during charging and turn off or blue when fully charged. Charging takes approximately 2 hours.
Bluetooth Pairing:
- Ensure the headphones are turned OFF.
- Press and hold the Power Button (MFB) for approximately 3-5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Hoco W30" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will typically flash blue slowly or remain solid blue, and you may hear a confirmation tone.
- If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
The headphones will automatically attempt to reconnect to the last paired device when powered on.
Operating Instructions
Power ON/OFF:
- Power ON: Press and hold the Power Button (MFB) for 3 seconds.
- Power OFF: Press and hold the Power Button (MFB) for 3 seconds.
Music Playback (Bluetooth Mode):
- Play/Pause: Press the Power Button (MFB) once.
- Volume Up: Press the "+" button once.
- Volume Down: Press the "-" button once.
- Next Track: Press and hold the "+" button.
- Previous Track: Press and hold the "-" button.
Calling Functions:
- Answer Call: Press the Power Button (MFB) once.
- End Call: Press the Power Button (MFB) once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Power Button (MFB) for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the Power Button (MFB).
TF Card Mode:
Insert a MicroSD (TF) card with MP3/WAV/WMA audio files into the TF card slot. The headphones will automatically switch to TF card mode and begin playback. If not, press the Mode (M) button to switch.
AUX Mode (Wired Connection):
Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX port on the headphones and the other end to the audio output of your device. The headphones will automatically switch to AUX mode. In this mode, controls on the headphones (volume, track skip) may not function, and you will need to control playback from your connected device.
Voice Prompt Switch:
When the headphones are not connected to any Bluetooth device, double-click the Mode (M) button to hear a voice prompt, which can be useful for confirming the current status or switching voice languages if available.
Charging the Battery
The Hoco W30 headphones are equipped with a 300mAh rechargeable battery. To charge:
- Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Micro USB port on the headphones.
