Setup

Charging the Device:

The PAGARIA WALKIE comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Before first use, or when the battery is low, connect the device to a 5V DC power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged. A full charge provides approximately 6 hours of playback.

Initial Power On and Time Setting:

1. Slide the Power Switch to the ON position.
2. The LCD display will light up, showing the current time or default time.
3. To set the time, press and hold the Clock Mode / Sleep Timer button (⏰).
4. Use the Backward (◀◀) and Forward (▶▶) buttons to adjust hours and minutes. Press the Clock Mode / Sleep Timer button again to confirm each setting (hours, minutes, AM/PM).

Operating Instructions

FM Radio Operation:

The device features a digital FM radio with easy tuning options.

• Switching to FM Mode: Press the Mode Key (M) until "FM" appears on the display.
• Auto Scan: Long press the Play / Pause button (►►) to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
• Direct Station Selection: Enter the desired frequency using the Number Keys (0-9) (e.g., for 94.3 FM, press 9-4-3).
• Manual Tuning: Use the Backward (◀◀) and Forward (▶▶) buttons to fine-tune or switch between saved stations.
• Antenna: For best reception, ensure the hand strap/FM antenna is fully extended.

Bluetooth Operation:

Connect your device wirelessly via Bluetooth for audio playback.

1. Press the Mode Key (M) repeatedly until "BT" appears on the display. The device will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
2. On your smartphone or Bluetooth-enabled device, search for "WALKIE" in the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "WALKIE" to pair. Once connected, a confirmation sound will play, and the Bluetooth icon on the display will become solid.
4. You can now play audio from your connected device through the PAGARIA WALKIE. Use the Play / Pause, Backward, and Forward buttons on the WALKIE to control playback.

USB/TF Card Playback:

Play music directly from a USB flash drive or TF (microSD) card.

1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB Slot or a TF card into the TF Slot.
2. The device will automatically switch to USB or TF mode and begin playing audio files. If not, press the Mode Key (M) until the corresponding indicator (USB or TF) appears.
3. Use the Play / Pause, Backward, and Forward buttons to control playback.
4. The Repeat / Single / Off Key (↻) can be used to cycle through repeat modes (e.g., repeat one, repeat all).

Alarm Clock Function:

Set up to two independent alarms.

1. Press the Clock Mode / Sleep Timer button (⏰) once to view the current alarm settings.
2. Press and hold the Clock Mode / Sleep Timer button to enter alarm setting mode. The alarm 1 hour will flash.
3. Use the Backward (◀◀) and Forward (▶▶) buttons to adjust the hour, then press Clock Mode / Sleep Timer to confirm. Repeat for minutes and AM/PM.
4. After setting Alarm 1, the display will automatically move to Alarm 2 settings. Repeat the process.
5. To enable/disable an alarm, short press the Clock Mode / Sleep Timer button to cycle through alarm states (Alarm 1 ON, Alarm 2 ON, Both ON, Both OFF).

Voice Recording:

Record your voice directly onto a TF card.

1. Ensure a TF card is inserted into the TF Slot.
2. Long press the Radio / REC / Save (FM) button to start recording. A recording indicator will appear on the display.
3. Long press the Radio / REC / Save (FM) button again to stop and save the recording.
4. To play back recordings, switch to TF card mode and navigate through files using the Backward and Forward buttons.

Using Earphones:

For private listening, connect the included earphones to the Earphone Jack.

Sleep Timer:

Set the device to automatically turn off after a specified duration.

• While in any mode, short press the Clock Mode / Sleep Timer button (⏰) repeatedly to cycle through available sleep timer options (e.g., 15 min, 30 min, 60 min, OFF).
• The device will automatically power off after the selected time.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
