Setup
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the air fryer and all accessories from the packaging.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the air fry basket and cooking tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface away from heat sources and flammable materials. Ensure adequate space around the appliance for proper ventilation.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a 120V grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
- Power On: Plug in the appliance. The display will show 'OFF'.
- Select Function: Press the desired smart program button (Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Reheat).
- Adjust Settings: Use the 'Temp' and 'Time' buttons, and the central dial, to adjust the cooking temperature (120-400°F) and time as needed.
- Preheat (Optional): Some recipes may require preheating. The appliance will indicate when preheating is complete.
- Add Food: Place food in the air fry basket. For best results, do not overcrowd the basket.
- Start Cooking: Press the 'Start' button. The display will show 'COOKING' and the fan speed.
- Shake Reminder: For certain programs, the appliance may prompt you to 'SHAKE' the basket halfway through cooking to ensure even results.
- Monitor Progress: You can pull out the basket at any time to check on your food. The cooking will pause and resume once the basket is reinserted.
- Completion: The appliance will beep and display 'END' when cooking is complete.

Maintenance and Cleaning
- Daily Cleaning: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. The air fry basket and cooking tray are non-stick and dishwasher safe. For stubborn food residue, soak in warm, soapy water before washing.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or other liquids.
- Filter Replacement: The Instant Pot Vortex Air Fryer features an OdorErase filter system. The appliance display will indicate when the filter needs to be changed. To replace, unplug the unit, remove the filter cover located on the top rear of the appliance, discard the old filters, insert two new filters, and replace the cover. After replacing, plug in the unit and press the 'Bake' and 'Reheat' buttons simultaneously to reset the filter indicator.
