Game Preparation

1. Place the black game board in the center of the playing area.
2. Each player chooses a color and takes all 21 Blokus pieces of that color.
3. Shuffle the 56 UNO-themed action cards and deal 2 cards face down to each player. Players keep these cards secret. Place the remaining cards face down to form a draw pile.
4. Determine the first player. Play proceeds clockwise.

Operating: How to Play

1. Starting the Game: The first piece played by each player must cover a corner square of the board.
2. Placing Pieces:
   • Each new piece played must touch at least one other piece of the same color, but only at the corners.
   • Pieces of different colors may touch along their edges.
   • Pieces cannot overlap.
3. Using UNO Action Cards: At the beginning of your turn, before placing a piece, you may choose to play one of your UNO action cards. Follow the instructions on the card. After playing a card, draw a new card from the draw pile to maintain two cards in your hand. If you do not play a card, you do not draw a new one.
4. Passing: If a player cannot place any of their remaining pieces, they must pass their turn. Once a player passes, they cannot play any more pieces for the rest of the game.
