  • 30X Optical Zoom PTZ: Features a 30x optical zoom and autofocus lens, capable of clearly observing fine details such as faces and license plates.
  • 5MP Resolution & 1000FT Night Vision: Equipped with an IMX335 CMOS sensor, providing 5 megapixels (2560x1920) resolution and up to 1000ft night vision distance with laser infrared light for clear color reproduction and starlight night vision.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Site Selection

Choose a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the camera's weight.

4.2 Mounting the Camera

  1. Drill pilot holes in the chosen mounting surface using the provided mounting template (if applicable).
  2. Insert wall plugs into the drilled holes.
  3. Align the camera's mounting bracket with the holes and secure it using the provided screws.
  4. Attach the camera body to the mounted bracket.

4.3 Power Connection

Connect the power adapter to the camera's power input port and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The camera will power on and initiate its self-test sequence.

4.4 Network Connection (Wi-Fi Setup)

  1. Download the "CamHipro" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Register an account and log in.
  3. Tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or entering network details manually.
  5. Once connected, the camera's status indicator will change (refer to app for specific indicator behavior).

Note: This camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. It is not compatible with 5GHz Wi-Fi.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Live View and PTZ Control

Open the CamHipro app and select your camera from the device list to access the live view. Use the on-screen controls to pan (horizontal rotation up to 355°) and tilt (vertical rotation up to 90°) the camera. Pinch to zoom in or out using the 30X optical zoom.

5.2 Automatic Tracking and Alarms

The camera features intelligent human detection and motion tracking. When a person is detected, the camera will automatically follow their movement. You can configure alarm settings within the app:

  • Motion Detection: Set detection zones and sensitivity levels.
  • Humanoid Detection: Specifically detects human shapes to reduce false alarms.
  • Sound and Light Alarm: When an intruder is detected, the camera can activate flashing red and blue lights and emit an audible warning.
  • App Notifications: Receive instant alerts, real-time video, or snapshots on your mobile device.

5.3 Two-Way Audio

The built-in microphone and speaker allow for two-way communication. From the live view in the CamHipro app, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker, and listen to audio from the camera's vicinity.

5.4 Recording and Storage

The camera supports various recording and storage options:

  • Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot on the camera for local storage of recordings.
  • NVR Storage: Connect the camera to a compatible Network Video Recorder (NVR) for continuous recording and centralized management.
  • FTP/Local Storage: Configure FTP settings in the app to upload recordings to an FTP server or save them directly to your local device.
  • Cloud Storage: Optional cloud storage services are available through the app (may require a subscription fee).

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Camera

Regularly clean the camera lens and housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the camera is powered off before cleaning.

6.2 Firmware Updates

Periodically check the CamHipro app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.

6.3 Weather Protection

The camera is IP66 waterproof and designed for outdoor use. However, ensure all cable connections are properly sealed using the provided waterproof kit to prevent water ingress.

7. Troubleshooting
