1. Introduction

This appliance is designed to reduce humidity levels in your environment, improving air quality and preventing issues caused by excessive moisture. 2. Safety Instructions

Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

• Ensure the power supply voltage matches the rating label on the dehumidifier.
• Do not operate the dehumidifier with a damaged cord or plug.
• Keep the appliance away from water and other liquids.
• Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 20 cm clearance around the unit.
• Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
• This appliance is for indoor use only.
• Do not use in areas where flammable gases or liquids are stored.
• Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain the packaging materials for future storage or transport. Check for any damage during transit. If any damage is found, contact customer support immediately.

4.2 Placement

Place the dehumidifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around the air inlets and outlets to allow for proper airflow. Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

4.3 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The unit will emit a beep, and the LED display will illuminate.

4.4 Continuous Drainage (Optional)

For continuous operation without emptying the water tank, connect the provided drainage hose to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is directed downwards to a suitable drain.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel

5.2 Power On/Off

Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off.

5.3 Setting Humidity Level

Use the Humidity buttons (usually '+' and '-') to set your desired humidity level between 30% and 80%.

5.4 Fan Speed

Select between two dehumidification speeds: Low or High, using the Fan Speed button.

5.5 Timer Function

Press the Timer button to set an automatic shut-off time, up to 24 hours.

5.6 Wi-Fi Connectivity and App Control

The dehumidifier can be controlled via a smartphone app. Download the official Cecotec app from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your dehumidifier to your home Wi-Fi network. This allows for remote control and monitoring.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficiency of your dehumidifier.

6.1 Emptying the Water Tank

When the water tank is full, the unit will automatically stop operating and an indicator light will illuminate. Carefully pull out the water tank, empty it, and reinsert it securely. The unit will resume operation.

6.2 Cleaning the Air Filter

The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage. Unplug the unit, remove the filter, and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with warm, soapy water. Ensure the filter is completely dry before reinserting.

6.3 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
