5. Setup and Operation

5.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB-C cable. Connect the USB-C end to the device's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included).

The status light will indicate charging status and turn off when fully charged.

Press and hold the Power on&off button for 3 seconds to power the device on or off.

5.4 TX (Transmitter) Mode Operation

In TX mode, the device transmits audio from a wired source to your Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

1. Slide the Mode switch to the "TX" side.
2. Plug the 3.5mm audio connector into the audio output port of your non-Bluetooth device (e.g., TV, in-flight entertainment system, MP3 player).
3. Press and hold the Power on&off button for 3 seconds to power on and enter pairing mode. The status light will flash red and blue.
4. Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
5. Once paired, the status light on the UGREEN device will turn solid blue. You can now enjoy wireless audio.

5.5 RX (Receiver) Mode Operation

In RX mode, the device receives audio wirelessly from a Bluetooth source and plays it through a wired speaker or car stereo.

1. Slide the Mode switch to the "RX" side.
2. Plug the 3.5mm audio connector into the audio input port of your wired speaker, car stereo, or amplifier.
3. Press and hold the Power on&off button for 3 seconds to power on and enter pairing mode. The status light will flash red and blue.
4. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), search for "UGREEN-80893" in the Bluetooth settings and select it to pair.
5. Once paired, the status light on the UGREEN device will turn solid blue. You can now stream audio wirelessly to your wired system.

5.6 Dual Pairing

The UGREEN Bluetooth Transmitter Receiver supports connecting to two Bluetooth devices simultaneously (in TX mode) or receiving from two source devices (in RX mode, though only one can play at a time).

TX Mode Dual Pairing:

1. Connect the first Bluetooth headphone/speaker as described in Section 5.4.
2. Once the first device is connected, put the second Bluetooth headphone/speaker into pairing mode.
3. Briefly press the Power on&off button on the UGREEN device to initiate pairing with the second device.

5.7 Answering Calls (RX Mode Only)

When operating in RX mode and connected to a smartphone, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calling.

• Answer Call: Double-click the Power on&off button.
• End Call: Double-click the Power on&off button during a call.
• Reject Call: Long press the Power on&off button for 2 seconds.

7.1 No Power

• Verify that the UGREEN device is successfully paired (solid blue light).
• Test with different audio cables or devices to rule out component issues.
• Reduce interference by moving away from other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, microwaves).

7.4 Calls Not Working in RX Mode

• Ensure the device is in RX mode. Calls are only supported in RX mode.
• Check if the microphone port is obstructed.
• Verify that your phone's audio output is routed to the UGREEN device.

• Keep the device dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or extreme temperatures.
• Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
