4. Physical Overview

4.1 Projector Dimensions

The projector measures approximately 22.2 cm (L) x 16.5 cm (W) x 8.6 cm (H).

4.2 Ports and Connections

The projector features various ports for connectivity:

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the projector for ventilation. The projector can also be mounted on a ceiling, wall, or tripod using the single mounting hole on the bottom.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cable to the Power Port on the projector.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable electrical outlet.

5.3 Connecting Input Devices

Connect your desired input device (e.g., laptop, media player, gaming console) to the projector using the appropriate cable (HDMI, VGA, AV, USB). Ensure the cable is securely connected to both the projector and the device.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn the device on or off.

6.2 Focus and Keystone Correction

  • Focus: Rotate the focus ring near the lens until the projected image is clear.
  • Keystone Correction: Use the 4D Digital Keystone correction feature to adjust the image shape if the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the screen. This can be done via the projector's menu or remote control.
  • Zoom: Utilize the digital zoom function to adjust the image size without moving the projector.

6.3 Input Source Selection

Press the 'Source' button on the remote control or projector to cycle through available input sources (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, VGA, AV, USB, Android).

6.4 Android System Operation

The projector runs on Android 6.0 with a Quad-Core processor, 1GB RAM, and 8GB internal memory. Navigate the Android interface using the remote control.

  • Wi-Fi Connectivity: Go to Settings > Wi-Fi to connect to your wireless network.
  • Bluetooth Connectivity: Go to Settings > Bluetooth to pair with Bluetooth audio devices.
  • Miracast/Airplay: Use the built-in Miracast or Airplay functions to wirelessly mirror content from compatible Android or iOS devices.
  • USB Playback: Insert a USB drive into a USB port to play media files directly. The projector supports various video and audio formats.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Lens: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently clean the projector lens. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Casing: Wipe the projector casing with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly.
  • Ventilation: Periodically check and clean the ventilation openings to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance and lifespan.

7.2 Lamp Life

The LED lamp in your XElectron C9 projector has an estimated operating life of up to 60,000 hours. No user replacement is required under normal operating conditions.
