3. Setup Instructions

Your Tulo Hybrid Mattress is delivered compressed and rolled in a box. Follow these steps for proper setup:

  1. Prepare the Area: Choose a clean, flat surface for unpacking, preferably where the mattress will be used. Ensure you have enough space.
  2. Remove from Box: Carefully remove the rolled mattress from its shipping box. Do not use sharp objects that could cut the mattress.
  3. Position the Mattress: Place the rolled mattress onto your bed frame or foundation. The Tulo Hybrid Mattress is compatible with most platform bases, box springs, and adjustable bases.
  4. Unroll and Unpack: Carefully cut and remove the outer plastic wrapping. The mattress will begin to decompress.
  5. Remove Inner Plastic: Once unrolled, carefully cut and remove the inner plastic layer. The mattress will fully expand.
  6. Allow for Expansion: Allow 24-72 hours for the mattress to fully expand to its intended size and firmness. During this time, a slight "new mattress" odor may be present, which is normal and will dissipate.

4. Operating and Use

Your Tulo Hybrid Mattress is designed for immediate use once fully expanded. No special operation is required.

  • Initial Adjustment: It may take a few nights to adjust to the feel of a new mattress. This is a normal process as your body adapts to the new support system.
  • Rotation: To promote even wear and extend the life of your mattress, rotate it 180 degrees every 3-6 months. This mattress is not designed to be flipped.
  • Support: Ensure your mattress is placed on a sturdy, supportive foundation. Inadequate support can lead to premature sagging and void the warranty.

5. Care and Maintenance

Proper care will help maintain the quality and extend the lifespan of your Tulo Hybrid Mattress.

  • Spot Cleaning: For spills or stains, spot clean immediately using a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Blot the area gently; do not saturate the mattress. Allow to air dry completely.
  • Protective Cover: Using a mattress protector is highly recommended to guard against spills, stains, and allergens.
  • Ventilation: Ensure good air circulation around the mattress. If possible, occasionally remove bedding to allow the mattress to breathe.
  • Avoid Jumping: Do not jump on the mattress, as this can damage the internal components and void the warranty.
  • Do Not Flip: This mattress is designed with specific top and bottom layers and should not be flipped. Regular rotation is sufficient.

6. Troubleshooting

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
