Setup

  1. Battery Installation: The blaster requires 6x 1.5V C batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment, typically on the side or bottom of the blaster. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to open the compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and securely close the compartment.
  2. Loading Darts: The Nerf Ultra Select comes with two types of darts: 10 Nerf Ultra distance darts (black) and 10 Nerf Ultra accuracy darts (white with red tips). Load 10 darts of one type into each of the two included 10-dart clips. Ensure darts are fully seated in the clips.
  3. Inserting Clips: Insert the loaded clips into the designated slots on the blaster. The blaster is designed to hold both clips simultaneously.

Operating Instructions

  1. Powering On: Hold down the acceleration button (usually located on the grip) to power up the blaster's motor. You will hear the motor whirring, indicating it is ready to fire.
  2. Selecting Dart Type: The blaster features a selector switch, typically located near the clip area, which allows you to choose which loaded clip you want to fire from. Move the switch to align with the clip containing your desired dart type (distance or accuracy).
  3. Firing Darts: While holding down the acceleration button, press the trigger to fire darts. The blaster is fully motorized and will rapid-fire darts as long as the trigger is held and darts are available in the selected clip.
  4. Reloading During Play: The clips are designed to allow for dart loading even while they are attached to the blaster, minimizing downtime during intense play.

Troubleshooting

  • Blaster Not Firing:
    • Ensure fresh batteries are correctly installed.
    • Check if the acceleration button is fully pressed and held down.
    • Verify that a loaded clip is properly inserted and the selector switch is aligned with the active clip.
    • Check for any dart jams in the firing mechanism. Clear any obstructions carefully.
  • Darts Not Flying Far/Accurately:
    • Ensure you are using official Nerf Ultra darts.
    • Check darts for damage or wear; replace if necessary.
