4. Setup and Installation

The KingHe Solar Street Light offers versatile installation options, including pole mount and wall mount. Choose a location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily to ensure optimal charging.

4.1 Pole Mount Installation

1. Attach the mounting arm to the light fixture using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure it is securely fastened.
2. Secure the mounting arm to a pole using the U-shaped bolts and mounting brackets. Adjust the angle of the solar panel to face direct sunlight.
3. Tighten all bolts to prevent movement.

4.2 Wall Mount Installation

1. Mark the drilling points on the wall using the mounting bracket as a template.
2. Drill holes and insert wall anchors.
3. Attach the mounting arm to the light fixture.
4. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using screws.
5. Attach the light fixture with the arm to the wall-mounted bracket.
6. Adjust the angle for optimal solar charging and light coverage.

5. Operating Instructions

The KingHe Solar Street Light operates automatically from dusk to dawn and includes a motion sensor for enhanced functionality. Use the provided remote control to select different lighting modes.

5.1 Initial Activation

Before first use, ensure the light is charged under direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours. The light will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.

5.2 Remote Control Functions

The remote control allows you to customize the lighting behavior:

• ON/OFF: Manually turn the light on or off.
• Mode 1 (Motion Sensor Mode): The light stays at 30% brightness and switches to 100% brightness when motion is detected. It returns to 30% after motion ceases.
• Mode 2 (Dusk to Dawn Mode): The light automatically turns on at dusk and stays at 100% brightness until dawn.
• Timer Settings: Some models may offer timer settings (e.g., 2H, 4H, 6H) to keep the light on for a specific duration after activation. Refer to your remote for specific buttons.
• Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the light intensity (if available on your remote).

• Cleaning the Solar Panel: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, leaves, or snow. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
• Checking Connections: Annually inspect all mounting bolts and electrical connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
