  • WARNING: DO NOT install on drywall alone. This mount is designed for installation on wood studs, solid concrete walls, or brick walls.

5.2 Wall Plate Installation

  1. Locate the desired mounting position on your wall. Use a stud finder for wood studs.
  2. Hold the wall plate against the wall at the desired height and use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the drill holes.
  3. Drill pilot holes according to your wall type:
    • Wood Stud: Drill pilot holes directly into the center of the stud. Do not use anchors.
    • Solid Concrete/Brick: Drill pilot holes and insert the provided wall anchors.
  4. Attach the wall plate to the wall using the appropriate screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.

5.3 Monitor Arm and Monitor Attachment

  1. Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws from the hardware kit. Ensure the screws are not overtightened.
  2. Slide the monitor arm assembly onto the wall plate. Secure it with the provided locking mechanism or screws.
  3. Carefully lift the monitor (with VESA plate attached) and hook it onto the monitor arm. Secure it with the VESA plate screws.
  4. Gas Spring Adjustment: The gas spring needs to be adjusted to the weight of your monitor. Use the provided Allen key to turn the adjustment screw on the arm. Turn clockwise to increase tension for heavier monitors, and counter-clockwise to decrease tension for lighter monitors. Adjust until the monitor can be moved freely and stays in position when released.
