3. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly set up and install your Aigostar Solar Motion Sensor Outdoor Lights:
- Unpack and Activate: Carefully remove the lights from their packaging. Locate the activation button, typically a small push button, and press it to unlock and activate the solar light. This prepares the unit for charging and operation.
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location that receives ample direct sunlight throughout the day to ensure optimal charging of the solar panel. The light should be mounted at a height that allows its motion sensor to cover the desired area effectively.
- Mark Drilling Points: Hold the light against the desired mounting surface and mark the positions for the screws.
- Drill Holes: Use a drill to create pilot holes at the marked points. Insert wall anchors if installing on masonry or drywall.
- Mount the Light: Align the light with the drilled holes and secure it using the provided mounting hardware (screws). Ensure the light is firmly attached to the surface.

4. Operating Instructions (Lighting Modes)
The Aigostar Solar Motion Sensor Outdoor Lights feature three intelligent lighting modes, which can be cycled through by pressing the push button on the unit. It is recommended to test the modes before final installation, especially if mounting at a high position.
- Strong Light Sensor Mode: In this mode, the light remains off until motion is detected. Upon detection, it turns on at full brightness (strong light) and automatically turns off after a period of no motion. This mode is ideal for security and energy saving.
- Dim Light Sensor Mode: The light stays on in a dim mode throughout the night. When motion is detected, it brightens to full intensity and then returns to dim mode after motion ceases. This provides continuous ambient lighting with a boost for activity.
- Medium Light Mode: The light stays on at a consistent medium brightness throughout the night, regardless of motion. This mode provides continuous illumination for areas where constant light is desired.
To switch between modes, press the push button located on the light. The sequence typically cycles from OFF → Strong Light Sensor Mode → Dim Light Sensor Mode → Medium Light Mode → OFF.

5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your solar lights.
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the solar panel and the light housing with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris. A clean solar panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption for efficient charging. The high-quality shade is designed for easy cleaning.
- Battery: The lights come with built-in rechargeable batteries (2*1200mAh). These batteries are charged by the solar panel. No user replacement of batteries is typically required. Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily for optimal charging.
- Seasonal Adjustments: In winter or periods of reduced sunlight, the light's performance may be affected due to less charging time. Consider repositioning if necessary to maximize sun exposure.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Aigostar Solar Motion Sensor Outdoor Lights, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Light Does Not Turn On at Night:
- Ensure the light was activated by pressing the push button.
- Verify the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight (at least 6-8 hours daily). Obstructions like trees or buildings can block sunlight.
- Check if the light is in the correct operating mode. Cycle through the modes using the push button to ensure it's not in the 'OFF' state or a mode that requires motion.
- Clean the solar panel surface to remove any dirt or debris that might be hindering charging.
- Light Stays Dim or Does Not Brighten with Motion:
- The battery may not be fully charged. Allow the light to charge for a full day in direct sunlight.
- Ensure the light is not in 'Medium Light Mode' if you expect it to brighten with motion. Switch to 'Strong Light Sensor Mode' or 'Dim Light Sensor Mode'.
- Verify the motion sensor is not obstructed and is clean.
- Light Flashes Continuously (SOS Warning Function):
- This indicates the SOS Warning Function is active. To return to normal operation, press the push button to cycle to one of the other lighting modes.
- Inconsistent Performance:
- Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance. The operating temperature range is -5°C to 60°C.
- Ensure the light is securely mounted and not loose, which could affect sensor stability.
