Setup and Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps for proper assembly:
- Unpack and Identify Parts: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Sort parts labeled with letters and screws.
- Initial Assembly: Begin by connecting the main frame sections. Ensure that any small spring-loaded pins for snap-in connections are facing the same direction for proper alignment. Do not fully tighten screws at this stage.
- Attach Shelves/Bars: Securely attach the horizontal bars or shelves to the main frame using the provided hardware.
- Final Tightening: Once all parts are assembled, place the ladder shelf on a level surface. Then, firmly tighten all screws to ensure the unit is stable and not warped.
- Install Anti-Tip Device: For safety, attach the anti-tip devices to the top of the ladder shelf and secure them to a sturdy wall using appropriate wall anchors (not always included, depending on wall type). This prevents accidental tipping.
