Setup
Charging the Headlamp
Before first use, fully charge the headlamp. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
- Locate the micro-USB charging port on the side of the headlamp unit. It is typically covered by a rubber flap for water resistance.
- Gently lift the rubber flap to expose the port.
- Insert the micro-USB end of the provided charging cable into the headlamp's port.
- Connect the standard USB-A end of the cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, wall adapter, power bank).
- The charging indicator light will illuminate (typically red) while charging and change color (typically green) when fully charged.
- Once charging is complete, disconnect the cable and firmly press the rubber flap back into place to maintain water resistance.

Adjusting the Headband
The elastic headband is adjustable to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for various head sizes or when worn over hats/helmets.
- To adjust, slide the plastic buckles on either side of the headband to lengthen or shorten the strap.
- Ensure the headlamp unit is centered on your forehead for optimal light projection.

Operating Instructions
The Energizer Pro400 Headlamp features two distinct buttons for controlling its various light modes.
White Light Control
The button on the left (when facing the headlamp) controls the white light modes.
- First Press: Activates the headlamp in High white light mode (400 lumens).
- Second Press: Switches to Low white light mode.
- Third Press: Switches to Wide white light mode.
- Fourth Press: Switches to Wide Low white light mode.
- Fifth Press: Turns the white light Off.
To turn off the white light from any mode, press and hold the white light button for approximately 2 seconds.
Red and Green Light Control
The button on the right (when facing the headlamp) controls the red and green night vision modes.
- First Press: Activates Red light mode, ideal for preserving night vision.
- Second Press: Switches to Flashing Red light mode, useful for signaling.
- Third Press: Switches to Green light mode, which can be beneficial for certain outdoor activities.
- Fourth Press: Turns the red/green light Off.
To turn off the red/green light from any mode, press and hold the red/green light button for approximately 2 seconds.

Smart Dimming Technology
The headlamp incorporates Smart Dimming technology, allowing for precise control over light intensity. While in any white light mode, press and hold the white light button to gradually increase or decrease the brightness. Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached. VisionGuard technology ensures a gradual increase in light intensity to protect your vision when turning on the headlamp.
