3. Setup

3.1 Power Supply

The calculator is equipped with a dual power system: solar and battery. For optimal performance, especially in low-light environments, ensure a AAA battery is installed.

3.2 Battery Installation

To install or replace the AAA battery:

1. Turn the calculator over to access the battery compartment on the back.
2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
3. Insert one AAA battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover by sliding it back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: An AAA battery is included with your purchase. If the screen is difficult to read in low light, please ensure the battery is correctly installed or replaced.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operations

Perform standard arithmetic calculations:

• Addition (+): Press the + key.
• Subtraction (-): Press the - key.
• Multiplication (x): Press the x key.
• Division (÷): Press the ÷ key.
• Equals (=): Press the = key to display the result.
• Percentage (%): Calculates percentages. For example, to calculate 10% of 200, enter 200 x 10 %.
• Square Root (√): Calculates the square root of the displayed number.

4.2 Memory Functions

The calculator includes memory functions for storing and recalling values:

• M+ (Memory Plus): Adds the displayed value to the memory.
• M- (Memory Minus): Subtracts the displayed value from the memory.
• MRC (Memory Recall/Clear): Press once to recall the memory value. Press twice to clear the memory.

4.3 Clear Functions

• C/CE (Clear Entry/Clear): Press once to clear the last entered number. Press twice to clear the entire calculation (except memory).
• AC (All Clear): Clears all entries and calculations, including memory.

4.4 Other Functions

• GT (Grand Total): Displays the grand total of all results obtained by pressing the '=' key.
• Back Space (►): Deletes the last digit entered.

• Cleaning: Wipe the calculator with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
