  2. Connect Negative Clamp: Connect the black (-) clamp to a clean, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery and fuel lines. Do not connect directly to the negative (-) battery terminal unless specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
  3. Activate Jump Starter: Turn on the Osram BATTERYstart PRO 700. Follow any specific activation steps indicated by the device's lights or display.
  4. Start Vehicle: Attempt to start the vehicle. If it does not start immediately, wait a few minutes before trying again. Do not crank the engine for more than 5 seconds at a time.
  5. Disconnect Clamps: Once the vehicle has started, first disconnect the black (-) clamp from the vehicle chassis/engine block, then disconnect the red (+) clamp from the battery terminal.
