5. Installation Instructions
Before beginning installation, ensure your grill is completely cool and disconnected from its gas supply. It is recommended to wear protective gloves.
- Remove Old Components: Carefully remove the old grill grates, heat shields, burner tubes, and igniters from your grill. Note their original positions for reference.
- Install New Burner Tubes: Place the new stainless steel burner tubes into their respective positions. Ensure the gas inlet end of the burner tube aligns correctly with the gas valve orifice.
- Connect Igniters: Attach the new igniters to the burner tubes. The igniters are designed for easy, screw-free installation, clicking securely into place. Route the igniter wires to the electronic ignition box. The 34.5-inch braided nylon wires are designed to be long enough for most configurations.

- Install Heat Shields: Place the porcelain steel heat shields over the burner tubes. Ensure they are angled correctly to catch drippings and distribute heat.
- Replace Grill Grates: Once all components are installed, carefully place the grill grates back into position.
- Test Ignition: Reconnect the gas supply and perform a leak test. Then, test each burner's ignition to ensure proper function. Burner flames should be blue and stable, without excessive noise or yellow tips.

6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your replacement parts, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning Heat Shields: The porcelain steel heat shields have a smooth surface that is easy to clean. Wash them with soap and water after each use to remove grease and food residue.
- Burner Tube Inspection: Periodically inspect burner tubes for blockages or corrosion. Clean any debris from the burner ports to maintain even flame distribution.
- Igniter Wire Care: The igniter wires are made of durable braided nylon. Ensure they are not pinched or exposed to excessive heat, which could compromise their integrity.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues after installing your replacement parts, consider the following:
- Burner Not Lighting: Check if the igniter wire is securely connected to both the burner tube and the ignition box. Ensure the igniter tip is clean and positioned correctly near the gas ports. Verify gas flow to the burner.
- Uneven Heat Distribution: Inspect burner tubes for any blockages in the gas ports. Ensure heat shields are properly seated and not obstructing flame paths.
- Yellow or Orange Flames: This may indicate improper air-to-gas mixture. Ensure burner tubes are clean and free from debris. Consult your grill's original manual for air shutter adjustments if applicable.
