Setup

1. Selecting the Correct Voltage

The adapter offers multiple output voltage settings (3V, 4.5V, 5V, 6V, 7.5V, 9V, 12V). Use the included small adjustment key to rotate the voltage selector dial on the adapter to match the required voltage of your device. Always confirm the correct voltage before connecting your device.

2. Understanding and Setting Polarity

This adapter features reversible polarity. It is crucial to match the polarity of the adapter to that of your device. Incorrect polarity can damage your device. The DC tips have markings indicating positive (+) and negative (-) polarity. Align the tip according to your device's requirements.

Select one of the 9 included DC adapter tips that matches the input port of your electronic device. The tips vary in size (e.g., 5.5x2.5mm, 4.0x1.7mm, 3.5mm single track) to ensure broad compatibility. Connect the chosen tip to the adapter's cable end.

Operating Instructions

Once the voltage and polarity are correctly set and the appropriate tip is attached, plug the adapter into a standard AC power outlet (100-240V, 50/60Hz). Then, connect the DC tip to your electronic device. A2: This power adapter is rated at 30W. The 30W rating is based on the maximum output power at 12V (12V x 2 Amps + USB 5V 1.2A). The 2000mA (2A) is the maximum current output at any voltage setting. Your device should not require 2.5A or more.

Q3: What is the function of the key?
