1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your EF ECOFLOW 160 Watt Portable Solar Panel. Please read it thoroughly before operating the product.
Product Features:
- Portable & Foldable: The EcoFlow 160W solar panel is designed for easy transport, weighing just 15.4lbs (7kg). It folds compactly for storage and unfolds quickly for use.
- Intelligent Solar Power: Engineered for maximum power output when paired with an EcoFlow power station, featuring a high conversion efficiency of 22%. The EcoFlow MPPT algorithm optimizes performance in various environmental conditions.
- Waterproof & Durable: With an IP68 waterproof rating and a seamless, one-piece design, this solar panel is suitable for outdoor use. An ETFE film protects against UV light, extending product lifespan.
- Kickstand Case: The included carrying case doubles as an adjustable kickstand, allowing optimal positioning towards the sun and enabling multiple panels to be connected without obstruction.

2. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your EF ECOFLOW 160 Watt Portable Solar Panel:
- Unfold the Solar Panel: Carefully unfold the solar panel from its carrying case.
- Position with Kickstand: Use the integrated kickstand case to prop up the solar panel. Adjust the angle to face the sun directly for optimal energy capture. The kickstand allows for various angles to maximize sun exposure throughout the day.
- Connect Cables: Locate the Solar to XT60i Charging Cable. Connect the positive and negative terminals from the solar panel to the corresponding inputs on the XT60i cable.
- Connect to Power Station: Plug the XT60i cable into the solar input port of your compatible EcoFlow power station.

3. Operating Instructions
Once set up, your solar panel will begin charging your connected EcoFlow power station. Observe the power station's display for input wattage.
- Optimal Sun Exposure: For best results, ensure the solar panel is angled directly towards the sun. Adjust its position periodically as the sun moves across the sky.
- Bifacial Design (if applicable): Some EcoFlow solar panels feature a bifacial design, allowing them to capture sunlight from both sides. This can increase efficiency, especially when reflective surfaces (like snow or sand) are present behind the panel.
- Monitoring Charge: The connected EcoFlow power station will display the incoming wattage and estimated charging time.

4. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your solar panel:
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the surface of the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may reduce efficiency. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Inspection: Periodically check cables and connectors for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Storage: When not in use, fold the solar panel and store it in its protective carrying case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Waterproof Rating: The IP68 rating ensures protection against dust and water immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. However, prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion is not recommended.

5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your solar panel, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power Output:
- Ensure the solar panel is in direct sunlight and not obstructed by shadows.
- Check all cable connections (Solar to XT60i, XT60i to power station) are secure and correctly inserted.
- Verify the power station's solar input port is functioning correctly.
- Low Power Output:
- Adjust the angle of the solar panel to be perpendicular to the sun's rays.
- Clean the surface of the solar panel to remove any dirt or dust accumulation.
- Consider environmental factors such as cloud cover, time of day, and season, which can affect solar efficiency.
- Ensure the ambient temperature is within the optimal operating range for solar panels.
- Missing XT60i Charging Cable: If the XT60i charging cable is not found in the package, please contact EF ECOFLOW customer support.
