Setup

Before first use, wash all cups, lids, and blade assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.

Assembling Your Blender

1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface. Ensure the power cord is plugged into a compatible outlet.
2. Fill a 24-oz. Single-Serve Cup with your desired ingredients. Do not exceed the MAX LIQUID fill line.
3. Screw the Pro Extractor Blades Assembly onto the top of the cup until securely tightened.
   

   The Pro Extractor Blades Assembly securely attaches to the top of the blending cup, ready to pulverize ingredients.

4. Invert the cup and place it onto the motor base, aligning the tabs on the cup with the slots on the base. Twist clockwise until you hear a click, indicating it is locked into place. The control panel lights will illuminate when properly assembled.
   

   The blending cup with ingredients and blade assembly is inverted and placed onto the motor base, ready for operation.

Operation

The Ninja BN401 features Auto-iQ Technology with pre-set programs for optimal blending results.

Auto-iQ Programs

Auto-iQ programs combine unique pulsing, blending, and pausing patterns to achieve consistent results. Simply select your desired program and let the blender do the work.

• SMOOTHIE: Ideal for creating smooth, drinkable blends from fresh or frozen fruits and liquids.
• CRUSH: Specifically designed to crush ice and frozen ingredients into snow for frozen drinks and treats.

The Auto-iQ control panel offers pre-set programs like 'Smoothie' and 'Crush' for one-touch blending.

Manual Operation

• START/STOP: Press to begin continuous blending. Press again to stop.
• PULSE: Press and hold for short bursts of blending. Release to stop. This is useful for controlled chopping or breaking down larger pieces.

Nutrient Extraction

The Pro Extractor Blades Assembly is designed to break down whole fruits, vegetables, and ice, unlocking vitamins and nutrients from your ingredients.

The blender's design allows for efficient nutrient extraction, creating drinks rich in vitamins from whole ingredients.

On-the-Go Convenience

After blending, simply remove the blade assembly and replace it with a Spout Lid to take your drink with you.

The included spout lids allow for convenient portability of your blended creations.

Cleaning Instructions

All parts, including the cups, lids, and blade assembly, are BPA-free and dishwasher safe.

• Separate all components before washing.
• Place cups and lids on the top rack of the dishwasher.
• The blade assembly can also be placed on the top rack or hand-washed with warm, soapy water. Use caution when handling the sharp blades.
• Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.

All removable parts of the Ninja blender are dishwasher safe for easy and convenient cleaning.

Troubleshooting

If your blender is not operating as expected, please refer to the following common issues:

• Blender not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Verify the cup and blade assembly are correctly assembled and locked onto the motor base. The control panel lights should illuminate.
• Ingredients not blending smoothly: Ensure you are not overfilling the cup beyond the MAX LIQUID line. Add more liquid if necessary. Use the PULSE function to break down larger or tougher ingredients before running a full program.
• Motor overheating: If the unit stops unexpectedly, it may have overheated. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool down for at least 15 minutes before attempting to use it again. Do not operate continuously for extended periods.
