This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new equipment.

2. Package Contents

3. Setup

3.1 Assembling the Tripods

1. Extend the tripod legs by loosening the leg locks and pulling them outwards. Secure the locks once extended.
2. Adjust the height of the tripod by extending the center pole using the crank handle. Ensure the tripod is stable on a flat surface.
3. Utilize the two built-in bubble level indicators on the tripod head to ensure a perfectly level setup.

3.2 Attaching the LED Video Lights

1. Attach the 360-Degree Swivel Ball Shoe Mount to the tripod's quick release plate or directly to the tripod head if applicable.
2. Secure the LED Video Light onto the 1/4 inch thread of the swivel ball shoe mount. The light features a standard 1/4 inch thread for universal compatibility.
3. Adjust the angle of the LED light using the swivel ball head and tighten the locking knob to secure its position.

3.3 Battery Installation

The LED video lights can be powered by either 6 AA batteries or NP-F series Lithium-Ion batteries.

• AA Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the LED light and insert 6 AA alkaline or Ni-MH batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
• Li-Ion Batteries: Insert one of the included NP-F975 rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries into the designated slot on the back of the LED light.

ATTENTION: Remove batteries when not in use to prevent drainage or damage.

3.4 Charging the Li-Ion Batteries

Use the provided battery charger to recharge the NP-F975 Lithium-Ion batteries.

1. Connect the charger to a power outlet.
2. Insert the NP-F975 battery into the charger. The indicator light will show charging status.
3. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

3.5 Using Diffusers and Color Correction Filters

The kit includes diffusers and color correction filters to modify the light output.

• Diffusers: Attach the white diffuser to soften the light and reduce harsh shadows.
• Color Correction Filters: Use the orange filter to warm the light (e.g., for indoor tungsten lighting) or the purple filter for specific creative effects.
• Simply slide the desired filter into the slot on the front of the LED light panel.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

Locate the power switch on the side of the LED video light. Slide the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the light and to 'OFF' to power it off.

4.2 Adjusting Light Intensity

The LED video light features an adjustable dimmer control for precise light intensity. Slide the dimmer switch up or down to increase or decrease the brightness.

4.3 Tripod Operation

• Pan and Tilt: Use the 3-way pan head to adjust the horizontal (pan) and vertical (tilt) angle of your light. Secure the position by tightening the corresponding knobs.
• Height Adjustment: Extend or retract the tripod legs and center column to achieve the desired height. Ensure all locks are securely fastened.
• Quick Release Plate: The quick release plate allows for fast attachment and detachment of the LED light from the tripod. Ensure it is securely locked before use.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the LED panels and tripod surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the kit components in the provided extra large gadget bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Battery Care: Always remove batteries from the LED lights when storing for extended periods. Recharge Li-Ion batteries periodically if not used for a long time to maintain their lifespan.
• Tripod Care: Regularly check all screws and locks on the tripod to ensure they are tight and secure.
