Important Note:
Some users may experience initial difficulty in attaching or removing the mod. This is often due to the tight seal required for waterproofing. Apply firm, even pressure and twist. Avoid using tools that could damage the lens or camera.
4. Operating the Max Lens Mod
Once installed, the Max Lens Mod unlocks advanced features on your GoPro camera:
Max HyperSmooth Stabilization
Experience unbreakable video stabilization up to 2.7K60. This mode provides the smoothest footage possible, ideal for high-action activities.
Ultra-Wide 1550 FOV
Capture more of the scene with an expansive 1550 field of view, the widest ever on a HERO camera. This enhances perspective and improves depth of field, making your videos more immersive.
Horizon Lock
Maintain a perfectly level horizon in your videos, even if your camera rotates a full 3600. This feature is particularly useful for dynamic shots where the camera's orientation may change rapidly.
Max TimeWarp
Achieve the smoothest TimeWarp video yet, with enhanced stabilization and a wider perspective.

6. Troubleshooting
Difficulty Attaching/Removing the Mod
If you find it hard to attach or remove the Max Lens Mod, ensure you are applying firm, even pressure while twisting. The connection is designed to be tight for waterproofing. - Ensure the mod is securely attached and fully twisted into place.
- Power cycle your GoPro (turn it off and on again).
- Check for any firmware updates for your GoPro camera. Ensure your camera's firmware is up to date, as this often resolves compatibility issues.
Image Quality Issues
